WHAT HATH THE 2016 AMERICAN ELECTION WROUGHT? IS THERE ANY HOPE FOR WORKING AMERICANS IN THE TWENTY FIRST CENTURY?

The American election of 2016, we now know, was a disaster!

Liberal progressive working middle class and poor are a majority in America, and the Democratic Party since President Franklin Roosevelt has normally represented working Americans; the Republican Party has in more recent history represented Corporate America’s WALL STREET!

LABOR UNIONS IF UNIONS ARE NEEDED WHYY CORP SPEND BILLIONS TO DESTROY

However, in the 2016 election, neither party appeared to represent the needs of labor; the DC Establishment of the Democratic Party in the 2016 Election, with ” CENTRIST, WALL STREET FINANCED HILLARY CLINTON” AS CANDIDATE, won the endorsement and vote of Republican President Papa Bush IN 2016, but lost the 2016 vote of liberal progressive working Middle Class and Poor, Democratic Party voters.

The American majority, the working Middle Class and Poor need to dump the Wall Street supported Democratic Party of “centrist”, Wall Street financed Hillary Clinton, who ignored the workers party platform, and Americans today need to form an American workers party; we need a candidate that we, working Americans can support and vote for.

The 2016 Elections was a disaster for Democrats, suffered by self-inflicted wounds!

THEREFORE, WORKING AMERICAN DEMOCRATS NEED CANDIDATES FOR CONGRESS IN 2018, WHO ARE FOR LIBERAL PROGRESSIVE WORKING MIDDLE CLASS AND POOR VOTERS, AND NOT WALL STREET MONEY.

WORKERS NEED TO REMEMBER THAT UINIFIED MANPOWER CAN BEAT BIG MONEY; MONEY NEVER PRODUCED ANTHING IN TERMS OF GOODS OR SERVICES, ONLY WORKERS PRODUCE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES (AND EXCELLENT CANDIDATES FOR OFFICE WHO SERVE THE PEOPLE).

HAIL A NEW LABOR PARTY FOR AMERICAN WORKERS! PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS GOT TO GO!

“Solidarity Forever”, is a labor anthem, written by Ralph Chaplin in 1915, when labor unions were not about elections, instead, unions were about working men and women who risked their lives, their livelihood, and their very existence for decent wages, working conditions, and hours! It was a time that created and solidified America’s Middle Class that was about workers.

LABOR 1920S WALL STREET RIOT GOOD

And in today’s world, Labor Unions are the ONLY VOICE TODAY, FOR WORKING MEN AND WOMEN, and today’s Republican politicians seek to ELIMINATE LABOR UNIONS, FOR THEIR OWN BENEFIT.

Today’s workers could learn something by knowing the words to Chaplin’s anthem, “Solidarity Forever”!

HERE ARE THOSE LYRICS TO “SOLIDARITY FOREVER”!

When the union’s inspiration through the workers’ blood shall run,
There can be no power greater anywhere beneath the sun;
Yet what force on earth is weaker than the feeble strength of one,
But the union makes us strong.

Chorus:
Solidarity forever,
Solidarity forever,
Solidarity forever,
For the union makes us strong.

Is there aught we hold in common with the greedy parasite,
Who would lash us into serfdom and would crush us with his might?
Is there anything left to us but to organize and fight?
For the union makes us strong.

Chorus

It is we who plowed the prairies; built the cities where they trade;
Dug the mines and built the workshops, endless miles of railroad laid;
Now we stand outcast and starving midst the wonders we have made;
But the union makes us strong.

Chorus

All the world that’s owned by idle drones is ours and ours alone.
We have laid the wide foundations; built it skyward stone by stone.
It is ours, not to slave in, but to master and to own.
While the union makes us strong.

Chorus

They have taken untold millions that they never toiled to earn,
But without our brain and muscle not a single wheel can turn.
We can break their haughty power, gain our freedom when we learn
That the union makes us strong.

Chorus

In our hands is placed a power greater than their hoarded gold,
Greater than the might of armies, multiplied a thousand-fold.
We can bring to birth a new world from the ashes of the old
For the union makes us strong.

And sadly, I can hear my friends and most young people, who have actually profited from the sacrifices, and even deaths of our labor union brothers and sisters, laughing at the words to “Solidarity Forever”, and/or even the words of the title itself, thinking that no one today could consider the “words” seriously. Yet, these same people often complain to me about their jobs and working condition, and they just don’t know what in the name of God to do about it!

LABOR 1920S GOOD PIC STRIKING WORKERS

Ah yes, I can assure you that for workers of the time “Solidarity Forever”, was written, and workers who lived in the same era of myself, my father, and my grandfather have taken the words seriously, knowing that working brothers and sisters of our unions, have fought and died for our welfare, AND STILL DO TODAY!

GOD BLESS AMERICA . . . AND OUR LABOR UNIONS!
