WHO DO WORKING MIDDLE CLASS AND POOR DEMOCRATS WANT FOR THEIR PRESIDENT; DEFESNSE OF PAST ACCOMPLISHMENTS OR REVOLUTIONARY PROGRESS? IT IS AS DIFFERENT AS CLINTON AND SANDERS!

The article is about today and past history: “But lurking behind this argument about the future is a dispute that’s really about the past. It’s a debate over what Obama accomplished in office — in particular, how significant those accomplishments really are.“Their priority in this election is choosing a president focused not just on advancing this agenda where possible, but also on defending the Obama legacy from Republican assault. And that’s what Clinton is promising them.

“Sanders, the independent senator from Vermont, is unabashedly ambitious. As president, he’d try to stretch the boundaries of the politically possible, rallying grassroots support to force sweeping liberal initiatives through Congress. Clinton, the former secretary of state, is part of the political establishment and lives by its conventions. If elected, she would slog her way through the usual political muck, hoping to realize a progressive vision through a series of hard-fought, incremental victories.”

BERNIE SANDERS FOR PRESIDENT

Personally, I am one who believes the best defense is an offense; I favor Bernie’s ‘revolution’ just as I favored President Obama’s ‘revolution’. Give me Revolutionary progress or Republican submission; that’s how I see 2016, either democracy or oligarchy. I do not want a Democratic candidate that is Republican lite.

My favorite part of the U.S. Constitution at election time is the Preamble: “We the People in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure the domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, PROMOTE THE GENERAL WELFARE, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

That is the purpose of any government and that’s the America my relatives have always fought for, including the American Revolution of 1776!
