ABORTION RIGHTS UNDER THE LAW IN A RELIGIOUS CONTEXT, AND IN THE EMOTIONAL CONSIDERATION OF AN INDIVIDUAL CITIZEN IN A DEMOCRACY LIKE AMERICA!

About legal abortion in America; legal abortion is either about law, religion, or emotion and the law necessarily prevails in a democracy like America.

In the law, a fetus is not a person until birth and a medical abortion is legal; in the matter of religious doctrine, U.S. Constitution, Amendment I: “Congress shall make no laws respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech; or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”

In legal context, differences between a fetus and a child is grossly over simplified and likened to the difference between a ‘chicken and an egg’.

Were a fetus to legally become a ‘person’ by statute, it would create a myriad of consequential disasters: a fetus could be sued, a fetus could commit crimes, a fetus could be incarcerated, a fetus could obstruct justice, etc.

All attempts (and there have been a myriad of attempts) to make a fetus, a person legally, have been found to be not in the best interests of any individuals or society, despite the pure emotional appeal.

The Constitution is the law of the land; and in regard to religion and the law, the Bill of Rights provides for each citizen to practice his choice of religion and protects each citizen from the tyranny of the religion beliefs of others.

It would be a violation of Human Rights to impose the tyranny of a religion on the mass of the People.

The American Constitutional Right of a woman to a legal abortion does not require woman to have an abortion.

What Americans’ greatest need is today, would be for America to have a new Amendment to the Constitution that requires every citizen to ‘mind his or her own business’.

Any and every individual’s emotional concerns and beliefs about abortion are not in any way considered a legal factor in deciding the merits of a legal abortion, for some other woman’ abortion, in a democracy; no woman in a democracy can be or should be required to have an abortion and in a democracy, no woman should be denied her Right to a legal abortion, by another citizen.

The whole subject of legal abortion is obviously, exclusively a female Rights issue based on the anatomical difference in male and female; though, both male and female have a vested interest.
