IT WOULD APPEAR THAT THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA HAS NOT CONVINCED THE AMERICAN CHRISTIAN EXTREMISTS THAT GENICIDE OF MUSLIMS IS NOT THE ANSWER TO THEIR RELIGIOUS BIGOTRY

Sunday, May 31st, 2015

Today I am reading about, “More than 200 protesters, some armed, berated Islam and its Prophet Mohammed outside an Arizona mosque on Friday in a provocative protest . . . weeks after an anti-Muslim event in Texas came under attack by two gunmen . . . “The anti-Muslim event outside the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix was organized by an Iraq war veteran who posted photos of himself online wearing a T-shirt with a crude slogan denigrating Islam and waving the U.S. flag.”

MUSLIM HATE PROTEST 5
PROTESTOR AGAINST MUSLIM MOSQUE IN ARIZONA

After giving it considerable thought, I concluded that Americans living isolated in America together with a multitude of bigoted Christian extremists gives the rest of the world the impression that the United States of America is made up entirely, of ignorant, hateful, and hostile extremist Christians. That is not what I would want the rest of the world to believe.

And this caused me to believe that perhaps, America needs to face the fact that these American Christian extremist bigots are going to have to live in the same world with the 1.8 billion Muslims in this world for the rest of their lives, because the two Bush Presidents have tried and already proved that America cannot assassinate every Muslim in our world, making it obviously evident that Muslim genocide is not the answer for devoted Christian extremists in America.

Someone needs to tell this, to the armed Christian extremist bigots of Arizona!

HOW TO GET NEWS ‘DIRECT’ FROM THE HORSES MOUTH, WITHOUT COMMERCIAL BREAK; AND, HOW CONSERVATIVES GET ONLY THE SAME FAUX NEWS TYPE IDEAS AND LIMITED DATA, OVER AND OVER AND OVER!

Friday, May 29th, 2015

Today I’m reading “Direct”, our San Diego County Democratic Party newsletter. It is a summary of the week’s news, free, and the best source of news that I have (and it comes with little effort).

Direct, is supposed to be partisan and is, however it consists totally of quotes, and quotes of Republicans are of necessity, as frequently as quotes of Democrats, since to know what Democrats are for, you need to know what they are against. Therefore, you can read, pick, and choose your own party’s position and learn what the opponents are up to, regardless what you believe. I like that.

So, it’s a Democratic Party publication, but if you are ‘dyed in the wool’ Republican, you can find news of your own party there and also find that latest Democratic issue to hate; of course you need to know the latest of your opponents’ thinking, so you can tell what you oppose.

Therefore, I love the Direct since it actually is not opinionated, though it is totally opinion; sounds weird doesn’t it. Hey, it is nothing but quotes of all kinds of people.

The editor is a personal friend of mine, Bob Jellison, and I can vouch for his honesty; Bob provides sources with every quote, bless his heart, and he is totally committed to being impartial while committed to being totally partisan. He is one of a kind, and not a know nothing, see nothing, Independent.

BOB JELLISON 1
MY FRIEND BOB, EDITOR OF ‘DIRECT’, PHOTO TAKEN BEFORE ‘DIRECT’, A ‘WHILE AGO’!

Today, I read in Direct: “I think many conservatives live in a bubble where they watch only Fox News on television, they listen only to conservative talk radio, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, many of the same people. When they go on to the Internet, they look at only conservative websites like National Review, Newsmax, World Net Daily, and so they are completely in a universe in which they are hearing the same exact ideas, the same arguments, the same limited amount of data repeated over and over and over again, and that’s brainwashing.” — Conservative historian Bruce Bartlett explaining how conservatives are “brainwashing” themselves with Fox News and other right-wing media.

Now this quote is by a “Conservative” historian; like most people, I’ve come to believe that conservatives are Republicans but I know that is not always true because I know some conservative Democrats. But, this quote may sound like the statement was made by a Democrat, it wasn’t, he is a true ‘conservative’ historian and sounds like the intelligent Republican.

For your edification, here is what Webster describes as conservative and liberal: the Webster Dictionary definition of conservative: “Disposed to maintain existing views, conditions, or institutions; moderate cautious.” AND, the Webster Dictionary definition of liberal is: “Not narrow in opinion or judgments; tolerant.”

So, I can only wish that People would use those terms in the proper context and start calling Republicans, “Republicans” and not conservatives; personally, I call Republicans a lot of things, but I never call them “conservatives.” I actrually like Conservatives.

Two other really good things about the Direct newsletter, is that it has funny ‘Late Night Jokes for Democrats’ in it, a favorite of mine, and the other good thing about it is a subscription to Direct is FREE.

To read this latest issue go to the link below, you can read it, and if you like it you can get a subscription free, and you don’t have to give Direct personal information except your email address, so you can get the publication.

If you choose to subscribe to Direct, you will get Direct by email about once a week free, and there are NO ADVERTISEMENTS and you will receive no other advertisements on your email as a result! (Damn socialists Democrats, don’t you hate to love them!) Here is the link: http://www.directzine4dems.com/881.htm Enjoy.

God bless America and God bless conservatives and liberals (especially liberals)!

HATRED FOR AMERICA, COUNTRIES WHO HATE AMERICA THE MOST, AND SOME ANSWERS!

Tuesday, May 26th, 2015

Today I’m reading about the ten countries who hate America the most: ‘Countries That Hate America the Most’, By Thomas C. Frohlich and Mark Lieberman:
http://247wallst.com/special-report/2015/04/21/countries-that-hate-america-the-most/22

“In 2014, 45% of the population across the 135 countries reviewed approved of the United States, roughly unchanged from the year before. Of major global powers, the United States received the highest median approval rating. While the current public opinion worldwide is relatively positive, especially when compared to the George W. Bush presidency, a majority of residents in 15 of 135 countries did not approve of the current U.S. leadership.” (Based on data from The U.S. Global Leadership Project).

Here are the ten countries whose citizens hate the United States the most, based on the survey: Russia #1, Disapproval Rating, 82%; Palestinian Territories #2, 72%; Belarus, #3, 69%; Lebanon, #4, 66%; Pakistan #5, 65%; Iran #6, 61%; Egypt #7, 58%; Austria #8, 55%; Tajikistan #9, 54%; Slovenia #10, 54%.

RUSSIA Gorbachev_and_Reagan_
GORBACHEV AND PRESIDENT REAGAN IN RUSSIA

It is unfortunate that a majority of the people in the world do not approve of the United States of America; however, it seems important that the American People become aware of this. American news media gives a different impression, and most Americans seem to believe the opposite and that is not good for America.

Note that some of our purported allies, are in the top ten who hate America the most.

The results was quite interesting; the article discussed reasons for the hatred but personally, I questioned the authors’ conclusions and resources. Further, I questioned the poll itself based on the fact it would be difficult to poll residents where warfare is raging in some countries, a multitude would be afraid to express their view, and a many residents are refugees.

However, it appears to me that Americans should be aware of the poll; I personally felt that the poll contradicted much of opinions expressed by American leadership, the corporate American edited news media, certainly many of the extremist groups in America, much of the elected members of Congress, and a lot of ordinary citizens of America who do not highly respect the rest of the world we live in, either.

And, the Poll does unfortunately point up a very important factor that America is not highly respected in too much of the world, today, including America’s own neighbor, Russia. Pity.

It grieves me personally, that our neighbor Russia is the number one nation hating America; though I understand why and America’s defense, I personally feel that America is not totally free of the cause. Fierce Corporate America’s economic competition, too often drives American foreign policy in a negative perspective to the detriment of the American People.

Today I was reading, “U.S. Releases Osama Bin Laden’s ‘Bookshelf’”:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/05/20/osama-bin-laden-bookshelf_n_7342492.html

The article had little of interest but reading the comments of readers about the article was devastating to me.

BIN LADEN 1
SAUDI TERRORIST BIN LADEN

It is exceedingly difficult for me to comprehend the stupidity and ignorance of most of those comments; personally, I have only a clinical interest in what others think. But in reality, it would appear that Bin Laden is dead and hasn’t made any public appearances since his reported death, period. Hatred in America persists.

All the conspiracy theories aside, and there is now a lot of conspiracy theories, the mastermind terrorists is presumed to be dead. And all the American religious ‘clatter’ in these comments on this bin Laden article, only contributes to making bin Laden a martyr to 1.8 billion Muslims in the world who do not at all agree with bin Laden’s terrorism, but most certainly did oppose President George Herman Bush putting a U.S. military base in and defiling their Saudi Arabian Muslim Holy Land in 1991, which was the incentive for bin Laden’s attack.

And the objectionable behavior of George Herman Bush, occurred in a questionable war, Desert Storm in 1991, against a Muslim population that posed no threat to America and resulted in killing a multitude of innocent Muslim population in the bombing of Bagdad which was aired on American television by CNN, to cheers of the primarily Christian American multitude.

It is extremely sad for me, to realize that the Americans making these crude and sadistic comments about this bin Laden article, actually are not even aware of why bin Laden made his heinous terrorist attack on September 11, 2001.

Certainly, the comment writers making these hateful, idiotic, and ignorant comments are for the most part, as much Christian extremists, as bin Laden was a Muslim extremist, and the Christians extremists appear total unaware of how cruel, biased, and sadistic their “Christian comments” about bin Laden and all people of the Muslim faith really are.

It is painful for me to look at what has happened to my beloved democratic United States of America, the Second Invasion and War with Iraq in 2003, and my American neighbors who apparently lack any sense of love and compassion for anyone whose religious beliefs differ from their own.

Is religion the root of all evil in people?

Will America ever be a peaceful and compassionate nation again, trusted, and revered by the rest of the world?

A COMMETARY ON PRESIDENT OBAMA’S SPEECH, RE WEATHY AMERICANS AND THE OTHER; AND COMPETIION FOR SURVIVAL IN AMERICA’S CAPITALISTIC SOCIETY

Sunday, May 17th, 2015

This is my commentary on President Barack Obama’s speech: “Whether we are Democrats, Republicans, or independents; whether we live in one of our poorest communities, one of our wealthiest, or anywhere in between, we all want our country to be one where hard work pays off and responsibility is rewarded.” —President Obama
https://www.facebook.com/barackobama/videos/10153092537041749/?pnref=story

PRESIDENT OBAMA
PRESIDENT OBAMA

Unfortunately Mr. President, you are absolutely wrong when you say that “whether we live in one of our poorest communities, or one of our wealthiest . . . we all want our country to be one where hard work pays off and responsibility is rewarded”; that is absolutely NOT TRUE!

Perhaps you have not noticed, Mr. President, that “Wealthiest Communities” in America are diligently trying their best and succeeding, to make trade agreements for sending jobs of our “poorest communities”, out of America and overseas; and those same “Wealthiest Communities” are determined to eliminate the Labor Unions of our “Poorest Communities”, and Mr. President, our Labor Unions are the only voice we the working poor class have in America, and in American society and in our economy.

The “Wealthiest Communities” in America have the power of wealth, which is overwhelming and our “Poorest Communities” in America have only the power of our ‘hard work’, our now quickly diminishing power of the ballot, and our ‘threatened by the wealthy’ Labor Unions.

koch-bros
KOCH BROTHERS BUY GOVERNMENT
FOR THEIR SELFISH INTERESTS

You Mr. President were our great hope; you purportedly had our best interests in mind and because of that we elected you; and, we continue to try to do our best with what we have, which is “hard work, responsibility, Labor Unions, and Our Ballot, to merely survive, put bread on the table, and care for our children.

But do not tell us that the Wealthiest Communities in in America respect our “Hard work and our Responsibility”, or that the Wealthiest Communities are an example of “Hard Work and Responsibility”; because the Wealthiest Communities have their wealth to sustain them and they are not required to work hard nor have any responsibility for the welfare of we in the “Poorest Community”.

Instead, the “Wealthiest” buy their way to Congress to cut funding for food stamps for children living in poverty and the pass Taft Hartley laws to prevent our organizing Labor Unions, and they then pass voter suppression laws to prevent us from voting. That Mr. President, is the ‘power of wealth’.

Actually Mr. President, we of the working Middle Class and Poor never seem to have a ‘liberal progressive’ candidate to vote for and consequently, we are that part of voters who do not always vote because we have no candidate of our own kind; and of course, we are the majority.

Only God loves us, “God must love the common man, because he made so many of us.” Abe Lincoln; God provided us with Labor Unions and a ballot, but the wealthiest communities would take that away.

Personally, I neither hate the wealthy nor do I begrudge them their wealth; but I must constantly protect my only resources, my job, from the influence of the wealthy, a necessity for me to survive in life, and for my family and I to have bread on the table, a roof over our head, and find contentment and happiness in life. The wealthy can be my salvation or my demise.

All my life, I have walked in these same working Middle Class and Poor, shoes, Mr. President; you sir, have never walked in my shoes.

THE IMAGE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN THE EYES OF THE REST OF THE WORLD; AND, DO AMERICANS CARE AND WHAT CAN THEY DO ABOUT IT?

Saturday, May 16th, 2015

Today, I read, “WATCH: Journalist Confronts George W. Bush On War Crimes,” By Derrick Broze:
http://www.mintpressnews.com/watch-journalist-confronts-george-w-bush-on-war-crimes/205670/

This article expresses much of my own concerns about the 8 years of W. Bush’s regime; I don’t hate W. Bush, but his behavior as President and his administration has been of great concern to me and I believe much of the W. Bush Administration was criminal, sadistic, a violation of International Law, and even crimes against humanity. And, there is adequate empirical evidence to substantiate those concerns.

Most American have never read Richard Clarke’s book, “Against All Enemies” or the “US 911 Commission Report” or the “Statement of Purpose of the Project of the New American Century” (PNAC) and are basically ignorant in regard to the Bush wars of aggression.

And today, young Americans in their twenties have no memories or knowledge of the first decade of the Twenty-First Century or Desert Storm of 1991, which were disasters that turned most of the entire world against the United States of America, and made America the target of terrorism.

AFGHAN BOMBING 1
INVASION OF THE SOVEREIGN NATION OF
AFGHANISTAN, WHO HAD NOTING TO DO WITH
THE SAUDI BIN LADEN’S HEINOUS 911 ATTACK

And personally, I am disgusted when I discover that almost the entire population of the United States of America have no idea why bin Laden launched his heinous terrorist attack on America on 9/11/2001; it is not a legitimate excuse for bin Laden, but it is the cause.

And, Corporate America (who profits from war) owned, controlled and edited (censored) news media, finds it in Corporate America’s interests for the People not to know or remember those years of America’s great decline, in the opinion of the rest of the world.

Personally, I had the unique experience of living in Europe from 2000 to 2005 and I travel a lot and have seen America from the outside looking in; and unfortunately, I have not always been proud of what I have seen.

Let me assure you that it really hurts to feel required at times to identify yourself as a Canadian instead of American when you are overseas, and then, when in America, to be condemned for being critical of America’s wars and foreign policy.

THE HORROR OF AMERICA’S SCHOOL SHOOTINGS AND NEW LAWS ALLOWING TEACHERS TO CARRY GUNS!

Friday, May 15th, 2015

Today, I read, “Debate Over New Law That Allows School Staffers to Carry Guns”;
https://www.yahoo.com/parenting/school-staffers-allowed-to-tote-guns-in-oklahoma-118865790002.html

Personally, I am an old retired school teacher, teaching was my profession; as a teacher, I experienced a school shooting, in which one of my most precious students was shot to death.

And I was brought up with guns in the house; we were poor and hunted game for food, I hunted game for food; I was drafted into the military at age 18 and taught to use military guns and how to kill the enemy, while in the military.

GUNS IN AMERICA 1
ALL KINDS OF HANDGUNS ARE AVAILABLE FOR TEACHERS

However, I never owned a gun of my own until the 1960’s, and during the Civil Rights movement; I received publicity in local newspapers giving my name and address, and I was identified as favoring civil rights. In San Diego where I lived, people identified favoring Civil Rights had their houses shot up by guns during the night, by White Extremist Hate Groups who opposed integration and granting civil rights of any kind. So I felt obligated at that time, to purchase a gun to protect my wife and children; I am not a pacifist.

In later years it was determined that local schools should have security personnel assigned to our schools, but they were to be unarmed; the security personnel wanted to carry weapons, but the Board of Education would not approve it. And, I agreed with the Board of Education; the security personnel I knew, did not have sense enough to pour pee out of a boot and I certainly did not want to see them with a gun in their hand.

Furthermore, I would have refused to carry a weapon myself, if it had been permitted, even after having one of my best students shot and killed on site.

When asked what can be done about preventing school shootings, my honest answer is, nothing! If pressed for an answer, I would have to say, just be sure that no one in the school, students, principal, teachers, custodians, and security personnel does anything, says anything, or thinks anything that might incite someone else to shoot them; and the answer to that is that it is impossible.

However, I personally always did everything possible that I could do to prevent school violence of any kind, which is in essence preventing any kind of hatred, bullying, or shooting. Number one, I refused to punish any students for anything; instead, as a teacher, I taught students not to do things they could be punished for doing, I did not allow them to do things they could be punished for, and that worked for me. The most difficult part was for me to be the role model for teaching the students; but being required to be the role model turned out to be actually, as beneficial for me as it was for the students.

PUINSHMENT IN SCHOOLS 1
IS THERE ANY PLACE FOR PUNISHMENT IN A SCHOOL?

When I look at America today, I see nothing from a majority of our political leaders and even some of our Christian extremist religious leaders, but hatred, threats, torture, war, killing, guns, better guns for killing people, freedom to carry guns for killing people, and more tax money spent on guns than on our schools; and I wonder what in the name of God they were taught in school. And I was not surprised when I learned that in America now, more Americans are killed by guns than by automobiles; that is exceedingly disheartening.

If I were to be teaching today, what would I have to be teaching my students, when politicians are passing laws allowing teachers to carry guns for killing other people.

Today, if I were required to give my opinion about school personnel being allowed to carry guns, I would have to answer by saying that it is a horrible idea; and, if it were absolutely necessary for someone to carry a gun in the school, I would insist that the logical person to carry a gun would be the students, since they are proven to be capable of using a gun at age five and they are the most likely to be victims of guns.

HOW SCHOOLS FAIL THEIR STUDENTS IN THE TEACHING AND LEARNING OF HISTORY

Thursday, May 14th, 2015

As an old U.S. History teacher, when I watch the news or read the news, I am absolutely appalled by Americans’ total absence of a knowledge of U.S. History. It is depressing!

But I am convinced that the reason for that is that teachers of U.S. History do not teach American History in the right way. The proper way to teach U.S. History is to convince students that they absolutely need to know some history to succeed in life and ‘why’ the history you are teaching, is the history that they ’need’ to learn, survive, and to be happy and content in life.

Santayana_2
GEORGE SANTAYANA, 16 December 1863 – 1952, PHILOSOPHER

Instead, history teachers too often teach the history that the TEACHER likes best, which is usually limited to wars, generals, dates, and assassinations instead of historic ideas.

Kids will eagerly learn history when they know it is necessary for them to learn and particularly they will learn history. if you convince kids some history is something that their parents ‘do not know’.

And personally, I hate ‘busy-work learning’; kids hate ‘busy-work learning’. Teaching is all about incentives and has nothing to do with ‘busy-work learning’. Learning needs to be exciting and a necessity!

Damn, I go ballistic when I hear TV pundits expounding on history and the Constitution, when they are totally wrong and are ignorant; I have heard Glen Beck, Hannity, and Limbaugh spouting their ignorance on TV and I looked up their education to see what university they graduated from and discovered they had nothing beyond a high school diploma; no wonder Americans are “dumbed-down”.

Neither People nor kids need a formal education to succeed, but if they don’t have a formal education they should have some outstanding life experiences, like travel or extraordinary work experience instead; lying and misrepresenting history and the Constitution on national TV is not an outstanding life learning experience.

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it,” George Santayana, 16 December 1863 in Madrid, Spain – 26 September 1952 in Rome, Italy, philosopher, essayist, poet and novelist (and some other people including me).

CALIFORNIA BANKRUPCY HAS A SIMPLE SOLUTION, BUT IT IS POLITICAL SUICIDE FOR POLITICIANS TO RESOLVE IT; HELLO PROPOSITION 13, STILL HERE AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!

Tuesday, May 12th, 2015

Today, I am reading, “California Transportation Department Sees $5.7 Billion Yearly Funding Gap”:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/05/11/california-highway-system_n_7259092.html

California has an easy solution to their bankruptcy, but it would be difficult to resolve because of political opposition by businesses, industry, and real estate investors and, solution is political suicide for politicians; in California, the wealth is in the land, and Proposition 13 inequitable property tax assessment provisions allows most business, industry, and real estate-investment companies privileged tax assessments at 1975 market values that has allowed them to evade paying their share of property tax, and that is what has bankrupt California.

HOWARD JARVIS
HOWARD JARVIS, CARPET-BAGGER FROM UTAH, CHARLATON, AND PROP 13 VILLIAN

Prop 13 provides for inequitable and one would assume obviously unconstitutional tax privileges, based on the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment; and the Proposition 13 initiative was financed by business, industry, and real estate investment companies who lied to the People saying it would not impact their public schools, highways, and police and fire protection.

Actually, it has devastated California Public Schools that was the largest real estate tax supported entity, and also highways, fire protection, police protection, and State health services.

Proposition 13 changed the way assessments are determined. Prior to Proposition 13, property was reassessed every 3 years, which made it the most equitable property tax assessment in the U.S.A.

Under proposition 13, property tax is limited to 2% increase per year but property is never reassessed unless it sells; when property sells it is reassessed at current market value.

Real estate in California increases exponentially since 1975.

Industry, business, and property-investment companies obviously never sell their property and thus are basically today being assessed at 1975 market values. Newly purchased property and new property is assessed at today’s market value at the time of sale which is much higher (several times more).

For example of inequities, 12 years ago, Warren Buffet publically stated that his $5 million estate in Malibu was being taxed at less than my 2 bedroom, below the median priced condo in San Diego; to Warren Buffet’s credit he was also stating that Proposition 13 was the problem in financing the State of California. God bless Warren Buffet. But, no one listened.

Every year I get an advertisement from the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association telling me that if I still owned an average priced residence that I owned in 1975, how many ‘millions’ of dollars I have ‘saved’ because of the Proposition 13 inequitable tax assessment clause (the advertisement also asks me for a donation as a contribution for their services).

How much do you suppose all of California’s large industry, businesses, and real estate investors have ‘saved’ in real estate tax paid since 1978 if one homeowner would ‘save’ millions of dollars? The amount those businesses, industries, and real estate investment investors have ‘saved’, has actually passed on their ‘savings’ to the costs of young homeowners and new businesses who just purchase property, assessed at today’s market value.

Further, the ‘savings’ of property taxpayers who have owned their property since 1975 is actually depriving California kids of education in public schools and other citizens in the State who depend on highways, firemen, policemen, State health servers, etc. of adequate services.

It is obvious that if the assessment clause of Proposition 13 were to be repealed and replaced with the previous assessment provisions, which was reassessment equitably every 3 years, California would have more than enough money to fund all the States essential needs (plus a surplus) without raising property tax rates. Wealth in California is indeed in its real estate.

To change Proposition 13’s assessment provisions would require a Constitutional Amendment, since Proposition 13’s initiative made it a California Constitutional provision and not merely a law.

However, replacing Proposition 13’s assessment provisions has become political suicide in California because the People have been convinced that Proposition 13 is saving them money, which is not necessarily true. And, even for those saving property tax costs, they are now paying more sales tax and income tax and Fed Income tax if they claim property tax as an exemption.

But the real wealth in California is property; property tax is tax on the more wealthy, property owning Californians, and sales tax is a tax on California’s poorest citizens.

A working poor person pays the same rate of sales tax on their work overalls that a wealthy man pays on his yacht; and chances are, the wealthy man is buying his yacht out of state or as a business expense, purchased without paying sales tax. Life is cruel.

God bless California, no one else seems to want to do it.

AMERICAN REPUBLICANS ARE BAD AND THEY MAKE AMERICA BAD, THE REST OF THE WORLD IS MAD, AND ALL OF THIS ALL MAKES ME SAD!

Tuesday, May 12th, 2015

Bigotry and hate is primarily a Republican thing in America, just look around you, listen to Republican Presidential candidates, try to find reliable news sources for making your decisions; Americans need to know what Republican and Democrat candidates are thinking and the People need to do something about it.

Further, Americans need to read this article, “U.S. Defends Record Before Human Rights Council” and unfortunately, very few will: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/05/11/us-human-rights_n_7254632.html

AMERICA STATUE OF LIBERTY
STATUTE OF LIBERTY

Americans who refuse to read stuff like this and refuse to read of discrimination and hate and war and killing are as much to blame for it, as the actual perpetrators.

Most People in America have no idea what the rest of the world thinks about Americans; this is not good folks. With electronic technology today, all the world including those in the most remote parts of the world, in the desert, in the jungles, on remote islands, electronically hear about America’s ruthless, aggressive wars for the benefit of Corporate America, America’s bigotry, America’s hatred, and America’s abuse of racial and religious minorities and that is why and how, America itself, created the foreign terrorists who attack the U.S.A.

Is it no wonder that Bin Laden acted November 11, 2001, because America defiled Saudi Muslim Holy Land in 1991 by putting a military base in Saudi Arabia when 1.8 billion Muslims in the world opposed it? That does not excuse bin Laden, but it does explain why bin Laden did it.

Rest assured that it is no pleasure for me to write this.

Campaigning for the 2016 Presidential Election has already started; and Republican candidates and elected officials are expressing vitriol, hatred and threats of war and it is also coming from every single one of the more than twenty, Republican candidates for President.

This article of mine, is not an expression of hate for the Republican Party, this is a legitimate concern about the vitriol, hate, and sadistic rhetoric directed by Republican leaders and candidates at minorities in America and at other sovereign nations abroad and threats of war and violence to other human beings; these voices are heard around the world and not just in America.

Personally, it is extremely painful for me to experience high profile Americans expressing this kind of hate and threats. From 2000 to 2008, I suffered from the corrupted U.S. Presidential Election in 2000, I suffered from Nov. 11, 2001 and the heinous bin Laden terrorist attack, and I suffered from the wrongful American Invasions of Afghanistan in 2001 and invasion of Iraq in 2003.

From 2000 to 2005 I was living in Europe; I saw the reputation of my beloved America deteriorate before my eyes. My own U.S. State Department warned me to “not wear cowboy boots” while living in Europe and to avoid speaking English in crowded places lest I suffer an attack. I know what foreigners think about America and Americans, and why; I know that Iran and all of the rest of the world is hearing what Republican members of Congress are saying about Iran and efforts to avoid war with Iran.

All the world hears the American Republican Senator, in front of TV cameras, singing, “Bomb, bomb, bomb, Iran”.

And I know that the rest of the world fears America for that reason, as well as the history of Desert Storm, the 2001 Invasion of Afghanistan, and the second 2003 invasion of Iraq. And it shames me that the world fears America and American nuclear and military might, just like the world feared Hitler and the Nazis and their military might in 1939.

In all seriousness, I am not a dyed in the wool Democrat and I have often taken issues with Democrat elected officials including President Obama, at times. But the Republican Party is no longer the Grand Old Party of my personal heroes Abe Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and Earl Warren. The Republican Party today has become the Party of hate, vitriol, and sadistic wars.

Because of the political framework in America, it is difficult for me repudiate the present day Republican Party of hate and war, and convince anyone that I speak as an American and not a Democrat. Which means it is difficult to assess American bigotry and war mongering as basically Republican; and, be assured that there are bigots and war mongers in both parties, of course.

But the time has come to face fact. The evidence is clear if People look carefully; and, media news in America has become suspect and not trustworthy. It is obvious the news media is owned, operated, and controlled by Corporate America and represents only Corporate America’s interests.

For the sake of America and American democracy, it is necessary to listen to exactly what elected officials and candidates for public office actually are saying. For the sake of American and your children, every one of us needs to get to know the candidates and what they stand for. For the sake of humanity and the world, accept your own responsibility to make a difference and vote.

If there is only one thing that you can do for America and your children, it is register and vote ‘intelligently’ in every election; know what the candidates stand for, whatever party they represent. You are the difference between hate and compassion, cooperation and competition, war and peace. Think positive.

God bless America!
