We American Progressives, a majority of the voters in the United States of America as proven by America’s progress over the years instituted by majority elected Representatives of the democratic Republic, hold these truths to be self evident;

That America was created and established to be a nation of Progressive Citizenry that makes use of new ideas, findings, or opportunities to make America a better and an even more democratic Republic;

That being a Progressive is to be Jeffersonian, positive, and representative of true American values established by this nation’s very origin;

That all men are created equal and deserving of respect and dignity, whether a natural born American or a person of whatever faith, born into the hovels of a nation in some far corner of the earth;

That an American Progressive can no more be a little bit part of the Project for the New American Century, than they can be just a little bit pregnant;

That the American democratic Republic was never intended to be governed by only forty-one percent of the United States Senate;

That military aggression, violation of International Law, and torture of prisoners of war, or any living being, are not American values, they are negative and the invasion and occupation of any other national sovereignty without having an expressed defensive purpose and a legitimate Declaration of War is unjustified under any circumstance;

That a definition of capitalism, in the American democratic Republic, is an economic system in which every person in the world should be allowed to profit and benefit from his/her own ingenuity, inventiveness, creativeness, and/or hard labor under protection of their government by, for, and of the people without depriving other living beings of their rights and welfare, and such capitalism only exists for the benefit of the people and not for the benefit of collective corporate wealth;

That the sole purpose of the State, is to provide for the people collectively, those things of necessity that citizens cannot provide for themselves as individuals.

In America’s longest war of all time, the American War in Afghanistan, the big mystery for many Americans is why the Afghan people are fighting America?

In searching for an answer, the logical place to look for an answer would be who started the war and why. Notably, America started the war and the answer must easily be found in America’s Declaration of War.

According to the US Constitution, only the U.S. Congress can declare war and to declare war, International Law requires that America would have to state a legitimate purpose for declaring war.

Unfortunately, despite the fact that it is a violation of International Law to invade and occupy another sovereign nation without a declaration of war, the Congress of the U.S.A. has never declared war on Afghanistan. The United States is a party to International Law by virtue of Treaties that were approved by the U.S. Senate; the U.S. Constitution reads: “This Constitution and the Laws of the United States that shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all the Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the Supreme Law of the Land.”

Since Congress has actually refused to declared war on Afghanistan, there is no legitimate reason for American invading and occupying Afghanistan. Therefore, it can only be concluded that the reason that the Afghan people are fighting against the invading and occupying U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan is because the soldiers of the United States have no legitimate right to be there.

Some Americans feel very strongly and believe it is patriotic to approve of America fighting against Afghans who are defending their sovereign nation against the presence of American soldiers there; approval of the war includes President Obama (who is also a lawyer) and a majority of the U.S. Congress (that refuses to declare war on Afghanistan).

However, probably most of the rest of the world and many people in the United States of America, including me, are opposed to America’s undeclared war in Afghanistan because we are not aware of why America is fighting Afghans or how America will know that they have won the war.

Someone once said, “War is hell!” It certainly is for those courageous American soldiers fighting and dying in Afghanistan. There appears to be no way to end the Afghan war because there was no legitimate purpose in starting it. The Afghan ‘War’ is a catch 22!

Arizona’s Governor Brewer continues to display her bigoted hatred for Mexican nationals and her ignorance, by saying that ‘most’ of the illegal Mexican immigrants crossing the Mexican border into Arizona are ‘Mules’, smuggling drugs into the USA.

Daily Beast:$Y55&om_mid=_BMJf-sB8MrIoEI&

If a majority of the hordes of Mexican workers crossing the border are smuggling drugs, as Brewer suggests, she should be more concerned with the epidemic use of drugs by the people of Arizona than the illegal entry of Mexican nationals.

And, if Brewer was really serious about determining whether Mexicans were illegally crossing the border to work or smuggling drugs she would have Arizona pass a law that would profile and require criminal Arizona employers serve prison terms if they are guilty of illegally employing Mexican workers that are undocumented. American employers that profit from illegally employing cheap labor performed by illegal Mexican workers are obviously the basis for Ameruica’s problem of illegal Mexican immigrants.

It is shameful that the “round eyed” people of Arizona blame poor Mexican nationals for all their State’s problems when the problem is actually criminal American employers and American drug addicts. The police should profile American employers that have obviously employed Mexican workers; if the police can tell if Mexicans are illegal by looking at them and their shoes, they should also profile and arrest the employers of those illegal immigrants they identify.

With her latest statement that most Mexicans illegally entering the USA in Arizona are drug smugglers, the sadistic Arizona Governor has added to her own display of incompetence and bigotry by blaming Mexicans for the drug addicts in Arizona. If drug use by Americans is responsible for Mexican nationals illegally crossing the border in Arizona, why doesn’t Governor Brewer have laws passed in Arizona to have the police profile and incarcerate every one of Arizona’s ‘Round Eye’ drug addicts they see on the streets that have dilated eyes?

Personally, I am ashamed by the bigotry and hatred shown by the ignorant and stupid inhabitants and elected political officials in my great American democratic Republic. What in the world is my beloved country coming to? The America I knew solved its own problems and did not blame the people of Mexico for them.

Herein is my letter to President Obama in regard to the Gen. Mc Crystal episode:

Mr. President, Unfortunately you are being challenged from every direction at this time, and while I am sympathetic, I would encourage you by reminding you that a man’s character is best measured by how he reacts in adversity.

It has been obvious that you inherited a U.S. Military politicized by ex President Bush during the preceding eight years and that U.S. Military leadership that was in place, was chosen specifically for their acceptance of the Project for the New American Century ideology; all military leadership in opposition to the PNAC policy was retired by the Bush Administration as we are all aware.

The hostility of the present military leadership to your expressed policy and ours the majority that elected you, has been of great concern to all of us who voted for and looked to you for change the direction of American policy of aggression and violation of International Law.

We who supported you were disappointed in your decision to continue the occupation of Afghanistan and participation in that nation’s civil unrest; we reluctantly accepted your decision to continue that senseless War for political expediency and recognition of pressure from a hostile Pentagon. However, today, it appears that ‘the die is cast’ and a change of policy is mandatory for the good of the American democratic Republic

The McChrystal episode has forced a decision; it is a question of you (meaning we the people) or the Pentagon and the Pentagon has failed. General McChrystal must be removed and replaced with leadership that is loyal to the civilian Commander in Chief and the majority of the American people.

I do not consider this to be just my advice, or advice of a single American voter; it is my belief that you have no other viable choice.

I am old enough to remember President Truman firing Gen. McArthur and President Kennedy accepting responsibility for the Bay of Pigs. Historically, it becomes evident that you really do not have a legitimate choice in this matter. Please be aware that I will be the first to express my admiration for your decision to fire General Mc Chrystal and take charge of our American Military Force and the responsibility for our courageous troops in Afghanistan.

On July 21, 2010, the Washington Post Newspaper reported, “Pakistani-born Faisal Shahzad, who became a U.S. citizen last year, was indicted in Manhattan federal court Thursday on 10 charges, including attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction and attempted terrorism transcending national borders. Shahzad, 30, is accused of parking a vehicle containing a crude car bomb in Times Square in Midtown Manhattan.”

America is being threatened by terrorists who are motivated to cause death and destruction to Americans.

Each time America has been threatened in the past, its people have united, despite their differences, to meet the challenge and eliminate the threat. Today, when every thing that America holds dear is threatened, Americans of all kinds Republican and Democrat, White and of Color, Tea Partiers and Liberal Progressives, Gay and Straight, Christian and Muslim and Jew must unite and eliminate whatever it is that motivates terrorist to want to wreak havoc on Americans

Unite and save the American democratic Republic!.

Today, the news from Democracy for America was, “ . . . the full House of Representatives and the Senate Armed Services Committee finally voted to make it happen and repeal ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.’ There’s only one more step left before we succeed: a vote of the full U.S. Senate. . . . Over 13,500 Americans have been discharged from military service for no reason other than their sexual orientation. They were willing to die for America. . . . Republican Senator Roger Wicker from Mississippi has announced Republicans will filibuster. Senator John McCain said, ‘I’ll do everything in my power’ to block a vote.”

Personally, I am straight and have an honorable discharge from the United States Air Force and posses no celebrity of any kind; what I have to say may be totally lost sounds in time. However, this is what I have to say.

I do not ever want to hear Republicans, Sen. Roger Wicker, John McCain, Christian churches, or any other homophobic American who supports the policy of ‘Don’t ssk; don’t tell’ ever say that, “I support the troops.” Unless they are specific and say, “I support only straight troops”, they are damned liars and should rot in hell.

The next time that I hear a homophobic American of any status, say, “America needs 13,500 more troops in Afghanistan or Iraq, or to defend my home town,” I will puke on them.

Hopefully, I have made my position crystal clear!

The truth is finally revealed by The Daily Beast, “The Deepwater Horizon oil rig was considered a “ship” by international law and was registered in the Marshall Islands—meaning the tiny Pacific nation was primarily responsible for regulating it, not the United States government.”

After all this time, with BP’s Deep Water Horizon oil gushing into the Gulf of Mexico and totally destroying the environment of the American Southeast, and neither oil experts or the American government having a viable solution, it is now perfectly clear what America’s response to the disaster has to be. The only proper response to the BP oil spill is for the United States, under the leadership of President Obama, to invade and occupy the Marshall Islands.

The Precedent for solving these national tragedies is there for all to see and understand. Just as President Bush invaded and occupied Afghanistan after the September Eleven disastrous attack by bin Laden, President Obama must not pussy-foot-around and President Obama must immediately invade and occupy the Marshall Islands and be done with it. It is definitely the Marshall Islands that is responsible for this horrific oil spill disaster in America.

Americans need only to look at history and see how invading Afghanistan made America completely forget all about 911 and bin Laden; that American tragedy is over and done with. No one talks about the World Trade Center Towers or Osama bin Laden any more. President Bush was a genius, an astute American leader; President Obama must follow that lead.

All America will unite in support of President Obama in time of war; the President will be subsequently armed with war-time powers. Americans will fill the streets singing patriotic songs and the villainous Marshall Islanders will become the most hated people in America. The Marshall Island War will stimulate the economy; the American depression will be over. Americans will become prosperous again, building tanks, guns, and ammunition.

What oil in the Gulf?

This is really interesting news today, 6/15/10; “General David Petraeus Faints At Hearing”.  Bush appointed General Petreus faints while listening to Sen. McCain explain the War in Afghanistan to him in a Senate hearing; I hope to hell that President Obama took notice and shakes up America’s Bush politicized American Army that is brain-washed and committed to Cheney’s ‘Project for the New American Century’ aggression.  We voters didn’t elect President Obama to continue America’s wars of aggression as usual; President Obama was elected by we, the American voters,  to get America the hell out of that Middle East quagmire as he promised.  “Mr. President, you are Commander-in-Chief of the Army, please depoliticize the Bush American Army, get rid of these Bush appointed Generals, and get America the hell out of Afghanistan.”

Certainly, I do not excuse Rep. Etherridge’s aggressive behavior, today, dealing with the unidentified man aggressively trying to interview him; however in politics today, Congressmen have their lives threatened by fanatic Right-Wing-Nuts who are inspired daily by other Right Wing-Nuts and hatred commentary from the likes of Faux News. It seems to me that if the purpose is to interview a Congressman, reporters would be willing to identify themselves; Etherridge’s interviewer is still not known.

Faux News on many occasions sends goons to stalk (interview) celebrities and then play the hostile attack on TV. This “college student” did not identify his name or university when asked. In my lifetime, I have seen Presidents Truman, Ford, Reagan and Gov. Wallace attacked and President Kennedy, Sen. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King assassinated; I have recently seen members of Congress spat upon, respectable abortion Dr. Tiller assassinated, and police officers killed by fanatic Right Wing-Nuts. For 8 years my President Bush never appeared in the public arena and never appear publicly when traveling overseas. Today, I cringe when my President, Barack Obama mingle with the American people.

I believe that I would have reacted to an unidentified stalker in the same way as Rep. Etheridge; but that is why I would not be an elected government official.  Surely, this is why quality American men and women do not want to be a candidate for public office in our American democratic Republic.

Americans today appear to be scared to death of foreign Muslim terrorists; yet for me, I fear more the threat of American Right Wing-Nut Christian terrorists.

I find a certain irony, in Arizona passing laws to deport Mexicans from Arizona; if I remember right, the Mexicans are part “original Americans” and part “Spanish conquerors of original Americans” from that very land now called Arizona by “the Round-Eyes”. Arizona may well become the number one State in America for deporting original Americans.

You know that Mexico must be pretty bad, if that is where “original Americans” are sent when deported.
